Review: Beneath the Patchwork Moon

Beneath the Patchwork Moon
Beneath the Patchwork Moon by Alison Kent

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this book through a Goodreads giveaway. Which really tickled me since I loved the first one and was eagerly awaiting Beneath the Patchwork Moon.

Although a sequel (Second Chance Cafe) it didn't read like a sequel and if I hadn't read the first one it would have made no difference to my enjoyment of Patchwork Moon.

Luna Matthews has kept her best friend's secrets for 10 years - since Sierra died in the accident that Luna survived. In some respects those secrets have kept Luna from fully living her life. Beneath the Patchwork Moon is the story of how she finally fully embraces the fact that she lived.

I felt the characters of Luna and Angelo (Sierra's older brother and Luna's first love) were very well written and the choices they made, and make, very believable.

I really liked this book and can't wait to read Indiana's story, and I really hope Will gets a story someday.
