Review: Rocky Mountain Freedom

Rocky Mountain Freedom
Rocky Mountain Freedom by Vivian Arend

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this book. I really enjoyed the previous books in the series and this one had just that little bit more. Having spent a lot of time with Travis in the previous books seeing him work through his issues and get his happy ending was really special.

When I read the synopsis, I wasn't sure this book would be my taste. But I am so glad I read it and can't wait for the next Six Pack book. Everyone should have the kind of understanding in their family that the Coleman's do.

Review: To Dance With the Devil

To Dance With the Devil
To Dance With the Devil by Cat Adams

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love the Celia books. Celia has so much going on in her life but she just pulls up her big girl pants and deals with it. No whining, no blaming just deals. Great book.

Review: Zombies! A Love Story

Zombies! A Love Story
Zombies! A Love Story by Maggie Shayne

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Zombies, A Love Story by Maggie Shayne

I loved this story but I wish it had been longer. I haven't jumped on the Zombie bandwagon but if they were all like this I would.

I really liked the characters and the way they solved the problem was great.

Review: Dick Francis's Refusal

Dick Francis's Refusal
Dick Francis's Refusal by Felix Francis

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

How can you go wrong with a Sid Halley book? Some of the 1st mysteries I read were Dick Francs books and Felix Francis continues the legacy with Refusal.

Great book with the usual horses, jockeys and mystery to be solved.

Review: Dark Witch

Dark Witch
Dark Witch by Nora Roberts

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Dark Witch started a little slow and it was a little hard getting to know the characters but as usual Nora Roberts pulled it off. It isn't one of my favorite Roberts' books but I suspect by the end of the trilogy I'll be completely engrossed in the world she has created.

One thing I noticed as I was reading - I felt like I was in Ireland. There is just enough dialect to make me feel like I was there but no so much it drive me crazy as I usually hate dialect in a book. The description of the the country really make me want to visit.
